Yi Martin lives in San Francisco, but actively draws on her Korean immigrant roots in her practice. She is a multi-disciplinary artist and self-taught weaver, who characterizes her work as a conversation between convention, art, utility, adornment, material, light, solidity, and space. Recently, Yi Martin received a grant by the Danish Arts Council to exhibit her monofilament sculptures in Aarhus, and she completed residencies at the Josef and Anni Albers Foundation, Textilsetur, and the Space Program. Additionally, she has exhibited at The Textile Center in Iceland, Ovartaci in Denmark, Nationale in Portland, Roundweather in Oakland, and The Berkeley Art Center.

A Mobile Landscape
D Eye Wire is created with plaster, light, metal hoops, wire and screen. Most materials were found and recycled and are from Community Thrift Store and Building Resources.
J. Lee is a long time San Francisco multimedia artist and musician. He is a painter, sculptor, guitarist/songwriter/bandleader of the Rabbles, experimental music composer and modular synthesist.
D Eye Wire is a concert of orbital motion which aims at hypnosis and the slowing down of time.. Modulating screen patterns, white circles and accompanying internal and external shadows create a soothing harmony and meditative dance. Lines between objects are blurred into a whole landscape. A minimalist light show is built into the composition as lamps turn on and off over the night hours providing different shadows and eye op effects.

“Capitalism & Schizophrenia” is a series of four screenprints by the San Francisco-based artist Patrick Perkins. It attempts to express the artist’s complicated emotional landscape through free-associated visual and written metaphor without much of an obligation to coherence.The series is composed of elements that are basically free—clip art, system fonts, and unskilled hand-drawn gestures. It uses a single color (black) and a single composition (square). Anyone could have made it.
